Mike Clarke is the Head of Brand Measurement at Google, leading research and measurement for the Google brand advertising business. Mike has his PhD in Sociology from the University of Waterloo, where his dissertation was focused on Human Computer Interaction, and specifically designing systems for using marketing analytics technology in the workplace. Mike is on the board of directors for the Advertising Research Foundation and co-chairs the mobile video working group at the IAB. Previous to Google, Mike managed services product research for mobile software, leading product management and advanced product research. Mike holds a number of patents in messaging and mobile software, and also is an advisor for Google Capital.
