Mental Health in the Social World: How to Survive, Thrive, and Enjoy Your OOO Time

Working in social media, chances are you wear many hats - from content creator and copywriter, to graphic designer, videographer and more. That is no small feat. You may be feeling undervalued, overworked and underpaid. Managing multiple social media accounts and the responsibilities that come with it can impact your mental health. If you're feeling burnt out and looking for support, this session is for you.

Maria DeCabooter will share her experiences working in social media for almost a decade while navigating both life and algorithm changes. From a breaking point that landed her in the emergency room to finding her voice and speaking up for her worth, Maria will share her top tips and tricks to survive and thrive in social media and to be able to take time off... and actually enjoy it!

After this session, you'll be able to:

  • Recognize burnout so you can address it and become a more balanced and effective marketer
  • Understand your social worth and establish healthy boundaries (and share those boundaries with others)
  • More easily pivot during times of crisis without sacrificing your mental health
  • Set that "out of office" and truly enjoy your vacation!
